The Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 has said three local drugs have been assessed and will undergo further testing as potential cures for the novel coronavirus.

Chairman of the PTF, BOSS MUSTAPHA at the task force’s daily briefing in Abuja, said the three drugs were among the numerous claims of COVID-19 herbal cure submitted by scientists and trado-medicine practitioners.

He said the review of the drugs was done by the Federal Ministry of Health in conjunction with researchers and scientists across the country.
