President Muhammadu Buhari has challenged German-based Siemens AG, distribution and transmission companies and the electricity distribution company of Nigeria to work hard to achieve 7,000 megawatts by 2021.
He also tasked them to work towards 11,000 megawatts by 2023 and overall grid capacity to 25,000 megawatts.
He gave the charge when the Federal Government of Nigeria signed electricity road map agreement with German-based Siemens at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
