March 20, 2025 Portable succumbs to pressure, apologizes to Saheed Osupa for calling him ‘big for nothing’

Controversial singer Portable has publicly apologized to Fuji icon King Saheed Osupa after previously calling him “big for nothing.”

Portable had earlier criticized Osupa for taking down his song from streaming platforms over copyright issues. The dispute arose after Portable used a line from Osupa’s song, prompting complaints from the Fuji legend and his distribution team, which led to the removal of Portable’s track from Apple Music and Spotify.

However, in a recent video shared on his Instagram page, Portable expressed regret over his actions, attributing them to his hot temper. He admitted that he let his emotions get the best of him and pleaded for forgiveness from both Osupa and his fans.

“My people, I know I have a temper. I’ve said my piece, and it ends here. My fans, please forgive me. King Saheed Osupa, Oba Orin, I’m sorry for my words,” he said.

He further explained that money was at the root of their misunderstanding, emphasizing that financial disputes often cause conflicts, even within families.

“It was music money that led to this issue. When I went to collect my earnings, I was told my song had been taken down. Please, my father, forgive me and accept me as your child,” Portable pleaded.
