The Police command has uncovered and shut down another religious home, where children were said to have been maltreated for years in the Sabon Garin Daura area of Katsina state.

Briefing reporters at the centre, the Commissioner of Police, SANUSI BUBA, said investigation revealed that the place had been in existence for at least 40 years.

The seventy-eight-year-old cleric and owner of the said spiritual rehabilitation centre, BELLO MAIALMAJRI was arrested along with two other men.

BUBA said some children who fled the centre had raised the alarm, leading to a police raid.
