Paul Pogba, the French midfielder for Juventus, has revealed that he rejected an offer from Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in favor of a return to Juventus during the last transfer window.

In an interview shared by Fabrizio Romano on X (formerly Twitter), Pogba confirmed the story, saying, “Yes, I turned down Pep Guardiola’s approach to accept the Juventus proposal. That story is true," as told to Gazzetta.

Pogba also made it clear that he would never consider joining Serie A rivals AC Milan, stating, “Even if Zlatan Ibrahimović calls me, I won’t betray Juventus."

Pogba is eligible to play football again starting January after his four-year doping ban was reduced to 18 months by the Court of Arbitration for Sport. However, there are ongoing talks between Juventus and Pogba regarding the possible termination of his contract, fueling rumors of interest from other European clubs, including Marseille.

Despite these developments, Pogba remains committed to Juventus, telling Sky Sport, "Will I join AC Milan? Impossible. I do not see myself with any other jersey. My focus is on getting back into the Juve shirt."
