Peter Obi, former Labour Party presidential candidate, visited Bokkos, Plateau State, to console victims of recent deadly attacks that killed dozens and displaced communities. Traveling from Abuja to Jos, Obi met survivors, including displaced children, as shared on his X handle Monday.
Condemning the “senseless killings,” he mourned innocent lives lost in a nation at peace and urged stronger efforts for security. Obi offered condolences to grieving families and stood in solidarity with Governor Caleb Mutfwang and Plateau residents.
He donated N7.5 million to aid displaced children’s education and urgent needs, noting the Obidient Movement’s prior borehole donation for clean water at the IDP camp. Obi stressed compassionate leadership to ensure Nigerians live without fear or displacement.
