Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola has welcomed Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling back to the Etihad ahead of the Carabao Cup game later today.
Recall Sterling left Man City to join Chelsea in the summer transfer window for a deal worth £47.5m.
Guardiola has also heaped praise on his managerial counterpart Graham Potter.
Potter, who is now two months into his role as Chelsea's head coach, heads into the game on the back of consecutive losses in the League to Arsenal and Brighton.
The 47-year-old manager started fairly well at Stamford Bridge with a couple of positive results, including Champions League form that has set up a last 16 tie with Borussia Dortmund next year.
Chelsea face an uphill task ahead of the encounter as the Blues travel to the Etihad Stadium to play former cup champions City in hopes of booking a slot in the fourth round of the competition.
The game is set to kickoff at 9PM WAT.
