The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has urged Nigerians to register and vote in the 2023 general elections.
The 80-years-old cleric said this while addressing his congregation on Sunday during the thanksgiving service.
He said Nigerians have a duty to register, to vote and ensure their votes count.
He added that he does not know yet if there will be elections in 2023
A civil society leader, Achike Chude welcomed the cleric’s call and urged the citizens to get involved in the electoral process.
Achike Chude also expressed worries over the voters’ apathy of Nigerians going into the 2023 general elections.
