Reports indicate that approximately 30 worshipers were abducted from a mosque in Tsafe town, the administrative center of Tsafe Local Government Area in Zamfara State. The distressing incident took place on Thursday morning as terrorists stormed the mosque during morning prayers.

According to reliable sources, the attackers, known for terrorizing the region, launched their assault on the mosque, firing indiscriminately with sophisticated weaponry before forcibly taking the victims into the nearby forest.

Efforts to contact the state police command for further information were unsuccessful, as the state police public relations officer, ASP Yazid Abubakar, could not be reached for comment at the time of this report.
