Napoli has finalized a one-year loan deal with Turkish club Galatasaray for Victor Osimhen. The Nigerian forward is already en route to Turkey, where he will be introduced to Galatasaray fans.
According to Fabrizio Romano's post on X, Napoli's release clause for Osimhen has been reduced from €130 million to €75 million. The deal also includes an option for Napoli to extend Osimhen's contract until 2027.
The loan, which lasts until June 2025, ensures Osimhen will earn a salary of €9-10 million. This move to Turkey concludes the transfer saga involving Osimhen, Chelsea, and Saudi club Al Ahli. After the Saudi deal fell through and negotiations with Chelsea collapsed late in the transfer window, Osimhen found himself in a tough spot, even being left out of Napoli's squad for the season, which would have sidelined him until the next transfer window.
