Senator Adams Oshiomhole urges Nigerians to be patient with President Bola Tinubu's administration.
According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), inflation reached 34.19 percent in June 2024, highlighting the high cost of living driven largely by the floating of the naira and the removal of the fuel subsidy. Despite these challenges, Oshiomhole, who represents Edo North in the Senate, remains optimistic about Tinubu’s policies, calling for patience.
“You have to agree that some of the policy initiatives will require more than a year to materialize,” Oshiomhole said.
“What would the president gain by resorting to policy choices that are unlikely to deliver comfort in the long run? So, I think for me, it is about having faith that in the long run, these things will work out,” he added.
