Nelson Abiam has joined Enyimba of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Abiam joined the People’s Elephant from Kano Pillars, who had won the NPFL four times.

This season, the enterprising defender has slipped in the Kano Pillars hierarchy.

Since joining Sai Masu Gida at the beginning of the season, Abiam has made seven league appearances.

In the previous NPFL season, the 23-year-old center-back scored five goals for Doma United.

He contributed to the home-based Super Eagles’ advancement to the African Nations Championship in 2024.
