Usman Abdallah, the technical adviser for Kano Pillars, has expressed his happiness with his team’s performance in the derby victory over Katsina United.
Abdallah gave his team’s young players high marks for their efforts.
Last Saturday, in a matchday 16 match at Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano Pillars defeated Katsina United 1-0.
Abba Adam scored the game’s lone goal.
“When you watch the game, you can see Kano Pillars’ future, but it’s not about the win,” Abdallah said to Kano Pillars reporters.
“The fact that we put on a team that we know will have some excellent players in the near future makes me happy because you can see the young boys who stepped in when they were needed.”
Kano Pillars, with 22 points from 15 games, are presently in seventh place in the league standings.
