As the transfer window approaches in January, Leicester City's Coach, Enzo Maresca, has quashed any speculations about the potential exit of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho.
With just one year remaining on their current contracts, both players were subject to transfer rumours during the recent summer window.
Wilfred Ndidi was strongly linked with moves to Nottingham Forest and Fenerbahce, while Kelechi Iheanacho reportedly received offers from Crystal Palace, West Ham, and Inter Milan. Nevertheless, Maresca deems Ndidi indispensable and a vital part of his squad, especially as he endeavours to guide the 2016 English Premier League champions back to the top flight following their relegation last season.
When questioned about the future of Ndidi and Iheanacho, Maresca responded, "These players' futures will be resolved in no time. They are key players, and we will see what happens in January, but I don't see them leaving except for international duty."
Despite Ndidi's role shift to the No.8 position at the club, his recent outstanding form has solidified his place in Maresca's plans, making their departure from the team highly unlikely.
