The Federal Government has announced that the ongoing National Identification Number, NIN and SIM integration exercise has been extended by eight weeks.
It said the new deadline was now April 6, 2021.
The extension was conveyed by the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, ISA PANTAMI during the meeting of the Ministerial Taskforce on NIN-SIM registration.
He stated that the extension is to give Nigerians and legal residents more time to integrate their NIN and SIM.

Mobile Network Operators have also activated hundreds of centres with plans to open more in the coming days NIN enrolment centres across the country to make the process of registration easier.
