Niger state where a fresh round of protests was staged  yesterday in Suleja, which is only a few kilometres away to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The angry Nigerians stormed the streets, calling on the President Bola Tinubu-led government to end the hardship and unbearable inflation they were suffering.

This is coming two days after a similar protest in Minna the state capital and Kano state.

The demonstrators wielded placards with inscriptions such as “Tinubu, Do Something Now!”; “Leadership Is All About Improving Lives”; “Nigerians Are Suffering”; “Stop The Hardship Now”, among others.

Moreover, the Niger State Police Command says it has arrested three women, 30-year-old woman, Aisha Jibrin, 57-year-old Fatima Aliyu, 43-year-old Fatima Isyaku and 22 others for their participation in the Monday protest in Minna.
