Blessing Jibromah, a talented Nigerian singer, has announced her ambition to break the Guinness World Record (GWR) for the longest singing marathon, aiming for 144 hours. Currently, the record stands at 105 hours, held by Indian singer Sunil Waghmare.

In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Abuja, Jibromah shared her goal to surpass the existing record. She hopes to not only secure her place in music history but also to inspire aspiring singers and performers to dream big and push their limits.

"I am thrilled to announce my desire to break the GWR for the Longest Singing Marathon (Sing-A-Thon). This record-breaking event promises to be spectacular, showcasing endurance, talent, and community spirit. I am driven not just by the challenge itself but by the potential benefits it can bring to Nigerians," Jibromah stated.

She believes that successfully breaking the record will inspire countless young Nigerians to pursue their dreams, no matter how ambitious. The marathon, scheduled for July 27 to August 2, will be open to the public daily from 9 am at Unique Park Gardens, Sky Memorial, Zone 5, Abuja.
