Nigeria has recorded 51 new cases of coronavirus, bringing total infected in the country to 493.
In a tweet on Friday night, the NCDC said of the news cases, 32 were recorded in Lagos, 6 in Kano, 5 in Kwara, 2 each in the Federal Capital Territory and Oyo, and 1 each in Ogun and Ekiti.
So far 59 patients have been discharged while the number of deaths from the virus now stands at 17.
