Nigeria now has 1,532 cases of Coronavirus after it recorded new 195 infections.

It is the highest number so far recorded daily in the country.

According to a tweet by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, of the new infections, 80 were recorded in Lagos, 38 in Kano, while 15 in Ogun State.

In Bauchi State, 15 cases were recorded, 11 in Borno, 10 in Gombe, 9 in Sokoto, 5 in Edo and Jigawa, 2 in Zamfara and 1 each in Rivers, Enugu, Delta, FCT and Nasarawa.

Lagos remain the epic centre of the virus in Nigeria with 844 cases, FCT 158 and Kano 115.

Total discharged is 255 while the number of deaths stands at 44.
