A total of 543 new cases of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Nigeria bringing the total number cases to 38,344.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC says 180 of the cases were recorded in Lagos State, 86 in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), 56 in Kaduna State, 47 in Ondo State, 37 in Edo State and 19 each in Ogun and Rivers states.

Kano State recorded 17 cases, 16 each in Ebonyi and Enugu states, 7 in Delta State, 4 in Bayelsa State, 3 in Bauchi State and 1 in Abia State.
