The NCDC has announced 556 new coronavirus cases in 17 states and the FCT increasing the total infections in the country to 36,663

Nineteen states reportedly did not record a new case of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

However, Edo state-led among states with new cases with -104, followed by Lagos-97, FCT-70, Benue-66,  Oyo-61, Kaduna-38, Plateau-28, Osun-19, Akwa Ibom-14, Rivers, Katsina and Ondo sates with 13 new cases, Ogun-6 Kano-5 Nasarawa-4 Gombe-2 Ekiti-2 and Borno-1.

15,105 patients have been treated and discharged while 789 deaths recorded in the country so far.
