Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis made a significant announcement on Sunday night, declaring that Victor Osimhen and his teammates, along with staff members, will no longer participate in pre- and post-match interviews with DAZN.
De Laurentiis made this declaration briefly after Napoli's victory over Juventus at the Stadio Maradona, where he expressed frustration and confirmed that Napoli players will now exclusively engage with Sky and Rai for media interactions.
De Laurentiis' decision reportedly stemmed from dissatisfaction with Italian broadcasters scheduling a Napoli home game against Atalanta on March 30, the day before Easter. Despite wanting the game to be played on April 1 to allow coach Francesco Calzona more time for preparation, it must occur on March 30 due to Atalanta's involvement in the Europa League.
This move comes amid DAZN's recent acquisition of domestic TV rights for Serie A until 2029, with the platform broadcasting all ten Serie A games each weekend.
