Veteran Nigerian actor Jude Chukwuka has revealed that he was attacked in Lagos following the death of singer Mohbad.

Chukwuka shared that some unidentified men assaulted him, mistakenly believing he was the father of Naira Marley, who had been accused of involvement in Mohbad’s untimely death.

Speaking in a recent interview with Seun Oloketuyi on YouTube, the actor recounted that the incident occurred while he was on a movie set in Ikorodu, Lagos.

He explained, “I understood from the beginning that blaming Naira Marley for Mohbad’s death was an attack on his personality. But some people saw it as an opportunity to gain attention and decided to take advantage of the situation. While filming in Ikorodu, a group of men confronted and attacked me, insisting that my son was responsible for Mohbad’s death.”

Chukwuka said he immediately clarified that he had no relation to Naira Marley, explaining that he hails from Delta State, while Naira Marley is from Abeokuta, Ogun State.
