Chris Ngige Assures ASUU Strike Will Not Take Place
Minister of labour, Dr. Chris Ngige has said the strike threatened by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) will not take place.
ASUU National President, Emmanuel Osodeke had said the industrial action became necessary due to the failure of the federal government to implement the memorandum of action it signed with the union upon which the last strike action was suspended.
Speaking on a monitored Programme, Ngige said funds are available for universities.
