Megan Thee Stallion, a rapper from the United States, was named the first black woman to appear on Forbes' 30 Under 30 list on Monday.
Forbes said on their official Instagram page, "Since 2019, Megan has rushed forward on hip-inner hop's train, moving from $500 gigs in her hometown of Houston to collaborating with music's greatest stars—Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, BTS, and Dua Lipa."
“She is the first Black woman to cover the Forbes Under 30 issue.”
Megan stated of her newest feat, "It's incredibly hard to be the first anything in 2022!"
“I want to be bigger than just my music.”
However, Megan Thee Stallion is preparing to release her third studio album and travel the world to play for the Hotties.
Although there is no official name for the full-length project or tour dates as of yet.
The next project has a lot to live up to, since her second album, Traumazine, which was released in August, is widely regarded as the 27-year-greatest old's work to date.
Traumazine included contentious tunes such as "NDA," "Her," "Pressurelicious," and "Plan B."
The famous project debuted at #4 on the US Billboard 200 and has received widespread commercial acclaim. It was distributed by 300 Entertainment and 1501 Certified, Megan's estranged label with whom she is presently embroiled in a legal struggle.
Her first album, Good News, was released in November 2020, and included DaBaby, City Girls, Lil Durk, SZA, Popcaan, Mustard, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Young Thug, and the legendary Beyoncé. It peaked at number two on the Billboard 200.
