One of Nigeria's most brilliant songwriters and vocalists in general, Mayorkun, announced his 2022 tour on social media.
The venues and dates for Mayorkun's next North American tour were announced.
The singer of "Mama" will begin his 19-city tour of the United States and Canada in September 2022. The trip will go from Chicago to Providence, ending on October 30 at the Strand Theatre.
Music career
After Davido noticed Mayorkun's cover video in February 2016, Mayorkun made the decision to leave his bank job and look for another one owing to the low income. Davido asked him if he could do more than play the keyboard after following him on Twitter and Instagram. On the same day he gave Davido some of his previously recorded tracks and drafted his resignation letter, he received a call from Davido.
In 2016, Mayorkun released "Eleko," his debut track on the label. On the Nigeria Playdata charts, the song debuted at number nine on May 1 and peaked at number five on May 28. In the first 10 days, the song's music video received one million views.

Mayorkun has a number of singles to his credit, including Yawa, Sade, Che Che, and Mama. In advance of his debut studio album, "The Mayor of Lagos," he released the singles "Posh" and "Fantasy" with Olu Maintain in October 2018.
The 16th of November 2018 saw the release of the Lagos mayor. It first featured on the Billboard World Albums chart on December 1, 2018, and peaked at position 15.
He was one of the artists slated to perform at the 2020 Vanguard Personality Awards at the Convention Center of the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos. Tekno, Timaya, and numerous other performers were also on the itinerary.
In an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, he announced his departure from DMW in 2021 at the release party for his second album, "Back In Office." Davido and Mayorkun then informed the crowd at the album lunch party. On October 29, 2021, the studio album "Back In Office" was made available in Nigeria through Sony Music's West Africa branch.
