Manchester City has announced the signing of Japan international Aoba Fujino on a three-year contract.

The 20-year-old forward, who will wear the number 20 shirt, is set to join her new teammates at the inaugural Perth International Football Cup later this month, following the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Fujino, a two-time WE League Valuable Player Award winner during her three seasons with Tokyo Verdy Beleza, expressed her excitement about the move:
