Manchester City won the English Premier League (EPL) title following a come-from-behind 3-2 victory over Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium on the final day of the league.
The win on Sunday sees Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City successfully defend their EPL title, making it the Abu Dhabi-backed side’s sixth league title.
Matty Cash and Philipe Coutinho had given Aston Villa a 2-nil advantage before Manchester City scored three times in five minutes late in the second half.
City did need those three points as Liverpool beat Wolverhampton Wanderers - with City boss Guardiola overcome with emotion and breaking down in tears at the final whistle.
In other matches, Ross Barkley's late header ensured Chelsea finished the campaign with a narrow victory against relegated Watford at Stamford Bridge.
Liverpool finished a memorable domestic season with a 3-1 win over Wolves at Anfield.
Arsenal missed out on Champions League qualification for the sixth consecutive time despite a comfortable 5-1 victory over Everton with Tottenham qualifying as they beat Nowich city 5-nil maintaining their fourth position of the EPL table.
