The family of Nigerian actress Halima Abubakar has blamed their daughter's poor health on the Founder of Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Suleman.
Following the publication of a list of Nollywood actresses a few months ago, it was found that the preacher had an affair with all of them, including Halima Abubakar.
Initially, Halima Abubakar denied being engaged in the incident, but in a series of Instagram posts, she admitted to having an affair with the pastor because he told her he was divorced with three children.
She wrote, “I f*ck up yes. I own my mistakes. But I won’t lie anymore. N*gg* said he was separated. I didn’t meet a married man. I met a bizman with three kids. Long story, stay away from liars."
After returning to Instagram after weeks away, the actress filed various complaints against Joshua Suleman and her coworker, Shan George.
She accused George of collaborating with Suleman to conceal blogs and portray her as a liar. The actress has been bedridden since then.
In a post on Abubakar's Instagram account, family members asked the priest to stay away from her. They also threatened to expose Suleman if anything went wrong with her.
"Johnson Suleman imodu. If anything happens to our sister, you going down,” the family wrote.
Halima's mother also attempted to contact the priest but was unsuccessful. She stated that the priest had threatened her daughter's life and that he needed to retract his words.
Halima Abubakar is a Nigerian actress who rose to prominence after winning the Afro Hollywood Best Actress award in 2011.
