Following the violence that erupted in some parts of Aguda, Surulere over the weekend, the state police command says it has arrested 12 suspects in connection with the violence.
Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the suspects who are now helping the police in their investigation.
According to the spokesman of the command, MUYIWA ADEJOBI, the clash between some youths in the area left one MUNERO dead.
He said MUNERO, who was alleged to be a serial killer in the area, was lynched by irate youths in the area.
The police spokesman noted that more men have been deployed to the area under the supervision of the Area Commander Area C Surulere, FATAI TIJANI.
