Nollywood star Kunle Remi and his wife, Tiwi, are celebrating the arrival of their first child, a son named Eemi Oluwa. The couple opened up about the arduous path to parenthood, marked by a startling medical diagnosis, extended bed rest, and 80 days of hopeful visits to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
In a heartfelt video featuring himself, Tiwi, and their newborn, Kunle reflected on their trials: “From an unexpected and unsettling medical discovery… to complete bedrest. From juggling demanding work schedules… to hopping on flights, both locally and internationally.” Despite these hurdles, their faith and resilience carried them through.
The couple’s journey took a joyful turn earlier this year when they exchanged vows in a lavish January 2024 wedding. The star-studded affair saw the likes of Sharon Ooja, Ini Dima-Okojie, Deyemi Okanlawon, Omowunmi Dada, and Stan Nze grace the occasion with their presence, adding glamour to the celebration.
