We are a leading media firm seeking an experienced Credits Control Manager to join our finance team. As a Credits Control Manager, you will be responsible for managing our credit control function, ensuring timely payment from clients, and minimizing bad debt.
Job Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
– At least 5 years of experience in credit control or accounts receivable management
– Proven track record of reducing debt and improving cash flow
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
Responsibilities:
– Manage and maintain accurate records of client accounts and transactions
– Ensure timely payment from clients and follow up on overdue payments
– Develop and implement effective credit control policies and procedures
– Analyze and report on credit control performance and recommend improvements
– Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve client disputes and improve customer relationships
– Identify and mitigate potential credit risks
