Reports suggest that Olajide Adediran, widely known as Jandor and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the 2023 Lagos governorship election, is set to officially switch to the All-Progressives Congress (APC) today. Adediran, who stepped down from the PDP two weeks ago, is scheduled to hold a press conference this morning at his campaign office in Ikeja, Lagos, to announce his return to the APC fold.

After resigning from the opposition PDP, Adediran previously a member of the state’s ruling party met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Abuja to inform him of his intent to rejoin his original political home. A source close to Adediran subtly confirmed this development in response to inquiries.
