On March 1st, 2023, the All Progressives Candidate Bola Tinubu was declared the winner of Nigeria's presidential election, sparking reactions from opposition parties and Nigerians who have deemed the election as fraudulent.

In response, Rude Boy, one-half of Nigeria's legendary group P-Square, took to his Instagram story to express his thoughts on the silence that has followed the aftermath of the election.

According to Rude Boy, he has yet to see bike men parading in celebration in the North where Buhari scored the larger percentage of his votes. He expressed disappointment with the widespread rigging and cases of voter harassment and intimidation that were reported during the February 25th election, which saw a large participation of youths.

The three major opposition parties, PDP, LP, and NNDP, have rejected the result, while Bola Tinubu has been handed a certificate of return by INEC, despite failing to address the issues surrounding the election. This situation has further injured the reputation of INEC, Nigeria's electoral body.
