Nigerian singer Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, better known as Oxlade, has revealed that he began singing before he could even talk. Speaking on a recent episode of the '90s Babies' podcast, Oxlade shared that his parents told him about his early musical inclination.
"I started singing before I started talking. My parents told me that I was singing before I could even speak," he said.
He explained that as a child, he was able to sing more quickly than he could develop his speech. "I sang faster than catching up with talks. That’s what my parents told me. I feel like that’s where my talent all started," Oxlade added.
