Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has named six new Special Advisers to fulfil distinct roles across various Ministries in the state, operating in a "non-cabinet" capacity.
The appointments, which come into immediate effect, were disclosed through a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin.
The newly appointed Special Advisers include: - Dr Iyabo Ayoola (Central Internal Audit), Olalekan Balogun (Economic Planning & Budget), and Akinyemi Ajigbotafe (Community Development). Additionally, Very Reverend Bukola Adebiyi (Christian Religion); Dr. Abdullahi Jebe (Muslim Religion), and Ismail Odesanya (Dawn Commission & South-West Integration) have also been selected for advisory roles.
The SSG has called upon the appointees to harmonize their contributions with Governor Sanwo-Olu's vision of achieving a Greater Lagos.
This appointment not only bolsters the governance team but also underlines the commitment to pursuing the state's development objectives.
