Dreams, has passed away. He was 67 years old.
According to various news sites, Liotta was on the set of the film 'Dangerous Waters' when he died.
An official at the Dominican Republic’s National Forensic Science Institute who was not authorised to speak to the media confirmed the death of Ray Liotta and said his body was taken to the Cristo Redentor morgue. The Hollywood Reporter and NBC News cited representatives for Liotta who said he died in his sleep Thursday. He was in the Dominican Republic to film a new movie.
The American actor was most recognized for his role as Henry Hill, a mobster in Martin Scorsese's gangster picture 'Goodfellas,' which was released in 1990.
Ray Sinclair in Jonathan Demme's 'Something Wild' was one of Liotta's most well-known roles (1986). He received his first Golden Globe nomination for the performance.
In 1989, he played baseball player Shoeless Joe Jackson in the Kevin Costner film 'Field of Dreams,' and in 2016-18, he starred with Jennifer Lopez as crooked officer Matt Wozniak in the NBC cop drama 'Shades of Blues.'
