Germany, the eight-time European champion, will face England in the Euro 2022 final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday after defeating France in a dramatic semi-final in Milton Keynes.
The Germans advanced to the final for the ninth time with a 2-1 victory over Les Bleues, thanks to a brace from Alexandra Popp.
England, looking to win the tournament for the first time, thrashed Sweden, the highest-ranked European team, 4-0 on Tuesday at Sheffield United's Bramall Lane.
The final takes place on Sunday at a sold-out Wembley Stadium, which has a capacity of 87,200, and the game could set a new attendance record for a match in a European Championship, male or female.
Germany, which had scored in all 24 knockout phase matches at European finals, will face England on Sunday at Wembley Stadium in a repeat of the 2009 final.
With the exception of 2017, Germany has competed in the tournament's final four in each year since 1989.
The first player to score in five straight matches at the European Championships is Alexandra Popp.
