The Commissioner for Information and Communications in Rivers State, Joe Johnson, has confirmed the authenticity of Governor Siminialayi Fubara’s signature on the resolution document initiated by President Bola Tinubu.
The controversial eight-point resolution was released after a meeting with President Bola Tinubu and the parties involved in the political crisis in Rivers State.
And yesterday, Governor Siminalayi Fubara said there is no prize too big to pay for peace in the state.
In an interview, Johnson stressed that the governor is committed to implementing the agreement.
Johnson also reacted to insinuations in some quarters that the governor demonstrated weakness when he agreed to the decisions during Monday’s meeting.
