Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Dr. Herbert Wigwe, the Group Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank, considering it an immense loss.
Speaking from the Government House in Port Harcourt, Governor Fubara conveyed his grief, still reeling from the tragic helicopter crash in the United States of America that claimed the lives of Dr. Wigwe, his wife, son, and others last Friday.
He reflected on Dr. Wigwe's invaluable contributions to his administration's progress, particularly through his insightful economic counsel.
Governor Fubara affirmed the commitment of the Rivers State Government to support the success of Wigwe University, a significant investment spearheaded by the late business magnate.
