The immediate past Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, has warned that the All Progressives Congress would be divided should it zone the 2023 presidential ticket to the north.

Speaking at an event organized by the Abuja council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, as part of activities to mark his 59th birthday. Okorocha, said, there is no justification for APC zoning the Presidency away from the South.

According to him, if the presidency is zoned to the North, it will polarize the party adding the APC should develop national spirit above personal convictions.

Okorocha noted that he agreed with Southern Governors on the Southern Presidency.
