As reported, a fire has broken out at the Household of David church in the Ikeja Local Government Area of Lagos State. The Lagos State Fire Service spokesperson, Amodu Shakiri, verified the incident, revealing that the church's auditorium ceiling experienced overheating, resulting in its collapse and subsequent ignition of a fire.

Shakiri further stated that the ongoing damage control efforts are being carried out collaboratively by the fire department and other pertinent agencies present at the scene.
