Aviation experts have been reacting to the major shake-up in the aviation sector as the federal government has dismissed all directors of civil aviation agencies in the country.
This was less than 24 hours after the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of all the aviation agencies were relieved of their duties.
The affected agencies include the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Nigeria Metrological Agency (NiMET), Nigeria Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and the Nigeria Safety and Investigation Bureau (NSIB).
The government said the move is aimed at repositioning the aviation industry and ensuring a safe and efficient air travel experience for Nigerians in line with the agenda of President Bola Tinubu.
In an interview with Inspiration FM, the spokesman of Aviation Round Table (ART), Olu Ohunayo hoped the development will truly lead to the growth of the industry.
