The Federal Government has announced free train rides for Nigerians during the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, shared the update on Monday while briefing journalists on the outcome of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.

The free train services will run from December 20, 2024, to January 5, 2025, covering all routes where train operations are currently available. This initiative aims to ease travel for Nigerians during the festive period.
