Vice President KASHIM SHETTIMA has assured that the federal Government will punish anyone found culpable in the accidental aerial strike on Tudun Biri village in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The Vice president gave the assurance when he visited the victims of the attack at the Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital in the Kaduna State capital.
Over 85 villagers were killed when the Nigerian Army drone accidentally struck the community on Sunday.
Shortly after visiting the victims at the hospital, SHETTIMA had a meeting with government officials, traditional and religious leaders, where he said President BOLA TINUBU is concerned and will take measures to protect and preserve the interests of the country.
SHETTIMA also commended the leaders for how they have responded to the situation.
The vice president said President TINUBU has promised to rebuild the community, with Tudun Biri being the first to partake in the Folako Initiative, which will be launched soon.
