The Federal Government has no plans to impose another COVID-19 lockdown even as the country is experiencing a second wave of the pandemic.
This was revealed by the minister of the information and culture, Alhaji LAI MOHAMMED, while addressing the press in Lagos.
MOHAMMED said the government is taking this decision because the economic and social implications will be difficult.
LAI MOHAMMED also condemned the predictions by several groups, saying Nigeria would not become a failed state but would rise to become a more respected member of the comity of nations.
