Nigerian rapper Remilekun Abdulkhalid Safaru, popularly known as Reminisce, has likened fame to a hard drug, describing it as highly intoxicating. Speaking in a recent interview, the 'Alaga Ibile' hitmaker explained, “Fame is a hard drug. It’s very intoxicating.”

When asked how he manages the pressures of fame, Reminisce shared that he operates with the mindset that nobody is his friend. He emphasized that he views people as colleagues rather than friends, which helps him manage expectations and avoid disappointment.
