English club Everton has set its sights on Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze as a potential signing in the upcoming winter transfer window. This development follows reports that AC Milan is open to loan or outright sale offers for Chukwueze in January 2025.
According to Football Insider, Everton has been monitoring the 25-year-old for some time and is now prepared to make a move to bring him to Goodison Park. Chukwueze joined AC Milan last summer but has yet to fully establish himself at the club, despite increasing his goal tally to four. His most recent goal secured a 1-0 victory for Milan against Udinese at San Siro in Serie A.
The Nigerian international has made nine appearances this season under manager Paulo Fonseca, starting in two matches. With his crucial goal against Udinese, Everton hopes to capitalize on his potential and add him to their squad in January 2025. It remains to be seen whether the Toffees can successfully negotiate the transfer.
