Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho has withdrawn from international duty due to a knee injury.
Garnacho played the full 90 minutes in United's 0-0 draw against Aston Villa on Sunday but will not be joining the Argentina squad during this international break.
Speaking about the situation, Garnacho said, “I had knee problems in the last two matches, and I won’t be able to be with the national team. I hope to recover soon so I can be available next time.”
He will stay in the UK to undergo further assessment by United’s medical staff.
