The Nigerian Army has announced that the soldiers who lost their lives in the Okuama community of Delta State will be laid to rest on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at the National Cemetery in Abuja. The announcement was made through a statement shared on the Nigerian Army's official X handle on Tuesday, with the burial scheduled to take place at 3 pm.

President Bola Tinubu is expected to attend the ceremony as the Special Guest of Honor, honoring the fallen soldiers and paying tribute to their service and sacrifice.
